Sarn Helen Cycling Club
Clwb Sarn Helen cyclists go for an organised ride every Wednesday (meet at 6pm leaving at 6:15 pm) from Rookery Car Park, Lampeter.
All abilities are welcome and no-one will be left behind - the only pre-requisites are a bike and a helmet!
During the summer months (From April 2nd to Sept 24th), we will be running 3 cycling groups
Group 1 – rides at around 25 – 30 miles at an average pace of 16 – 18 mph
Group 2 – rides at around 17 – 22 Miles at an average pace of 13 – 16 mph
Group 3 – Rides at around 10 – 15 miles at an average pace of 10 mph - route can be ad hoc, normally made up on the day, depending on numbers and who's out.
Non-members will be charged £3 per ride, or join for as little as £10
For paid members, we run a points championship where members can gain points for attending and wearing the club kit and bonus points for marshalling a running race.
We also have multiple events throughout the year that add to the Overall championship trophy.
It does not stop there. A group of hardcore riders will continue to ride throughout the winter (weather depending)
