Race 2 of Aberastwyth series of runs took place on Wednesday 29th July with 18 runners representing Sarn Helen. Sarn Helen ladies impressed on the night taking the top 3 spots
, Layla Omar-Davies flew around the course in a sub 19 minute time of 18:47 and a new 5K PB, Emma Palfrey had a fabulous run to claim 2nd female and 1st F35 in 19:17 with Nia Teify Rees finishing as 3rd female with a new PB time of 19:12. Nicola Williams 21:41, Lou Summers 1st F55 in a superb time of 22:09, Meinir Williams 2nd F45 24:34, Elin Efans 25:00, Rachael Taylor 25:18, Vicky Phillips 26:50, Kerry Itwin-Hall 27:10.
Rhodri Williams 16:46, Osian Jones 19:33, Dylan Lewis 1st M35 in a fantastic time of 16:35, Wyn Evans with a great time of 17:38 was 2nd M35, Stephen Kenworthy 21:33, Dan Hooper 3rd M45 in 18:21, Careyn Favies 20:29 and Eryl Jones 21:54.
Ras Adclad is an annual race on the running calendar, ran in memory of Arwel (Adclad Buildings). This year the challenging hilly, mixed terrain course covering 7.5 miles started in Caio and finished in Llanwrda. 9 runners from Sarn Helen took to the start line, 3rd overall was Dan Hooper in a superb time of 49:57 closely followed by Teifion Davies in 50:02, Glyn Price 55:42, Alexander Price 58:47, David Thomas 61:58, Ben Hall 65:22, Simon Hall 65:35, Dee Jolly 65:35 and Delyth Crimes 67:24
