A firm favourite of a fixture in the winter calendar, the Crymych Team Pursuit event took place on a wet and windy Saturday, January 26th 2020, but there is no such weather as bad weather for running!
This was the 25th annual event, with 290 runners taking part. Each team consisted of five runners, with the each team member set off at 10-second intervals to run the 10 kilometre route. Members’ times were then added up at the end to obtain cumulative team times.
Sarn Helen Running Club entered five teams, one of which achieved first in category - the Female Veterans, with a time of 04:48:46. Team results were as follows: Sarn Helen Vets Men (MV) 03:57:08; Sarn Helen Mixed (X) 04:00:57; Sarn Helen (FV) 04:48:46; Sarn Helen Mixed (X) 04:51:09; Sarn Helen Jolly Tots (X) 06:05:06.
